TR-7 ACCIDENT PROCEDURES

Need written accident procedures for vehicles (I am getting the outdoor handbook from Zina, but she said that was not in there.)

Does the camp's policy require that each vehicle transporting campers
carry a camp staff member who has been trained to follow written
accident procedures for:

‍• Providing or securing care for the injured, (do not have)
• Supervising the uninjured, (do not have)
• Specifying whom to notify in an emergency, and

Would like to have interns do a video. Need to check with Ty.

If not, we can cover it with the students before the first off campus trip.

TR-11 EMERGENCY EQUIPMENT

Need to check w/ Don Hunt. Only using two 20 passenger buses, so should be fine (and suburbans should have them, too if we use them).

‍TR-12 PRIVATE VEHICLE USE

This is what is currently in the faculty handbook:
  1. Anyone using a personal vehicle for a school-sponsored event registers the vehicle with the business office prior to obtaining approval:
    1. An owner’s approval form signed by the owner of the vehicle, is completed at least seven (7) days prior to the trip; and
    2. Evidence of personal automobile liability is required prior to approval of use.

I would suggest that we say no private vehicle use during summer school (and put it in writing).

following items:
Lights,
Windshield and wiper condition,

    1. oil/fuel level;
    2. windshield wipers;
    3. tire inflation;
    4. mirrors;
    5. lights;
